Thirteen Days of Hell







OK I'm not  a blogger by nature nor do I like sharing my thoughts but, I'm hoping this will get me through the next 13 DAYs of hell...

I have tried this diet before and I lasted 12 days, and lost 7 kg. However I had my good friend Yuls by my side and when she sets her mind on loosing weight, believe me there's nothing that can stop her. 

Unfortunately I'm no longer residing with my BFF and time has past and the KFC's, Nando's and  McDonald's of this world have  found their way to my waist and thighs and I need to shed off. On my of own i'm going to to make sure I finish the 13 days of hell and hopefully writing about it will help me along...

Today is Day 1 of my TDH (Thirteen Days of Hell)



Breakfast: One slice of bread and 2 cups of black coffee without Sugar
Lunch: 1 Boiled egg and boiled spinach 
Dinner: Grilled chicken fillet

I'm through lunch and have had my 2nd 750ml of water, I have to say I'm still doing quite well no cravings but I know they are coming tomorrow. Will weigh myself this afternoon after my dinner and see how it goes. Going on my 3rd bottle of water then I know I'm beyond the 2 liters needed for the day....



Day 2 of TDH


Breakfast: One slice of bread and 2 cups of coffee without sugar
Lunch: Chicken filled cooked with water and salt and green salad (lettuce and cucumber only) and 2 apples
Dinner: Ham



Ok woke up feeling extra hungry today had a bottle of water to lift my energies for the drive to work. 8:14 and I've planned to only have my breakfast 9:30  that way I can keep up till 13:00... I'm so looking forward to my lunch today because of the APPLE lol, even though my plan is to leave it for my mid afternoon snack because yes people believe it or not today I'm going back to my 5km run so I deff need the energy... I know I'm not meant to be exercising during this diet but hey I really need to loose the weight ooh and I am so determined and motivated its not funny. I have a year end function coming up and I have my eye on a a particular dress therefore I need to make it BTW the year end is in three weeks....So next week Sat after this hell is over I'm starting on a new plan, less hectic and will maintain me for the next month no worries I will share as well. .

I have decided not to weigh myself today will start weighing my self from Thursday on wards... Will share what I've shed from yesterday till then crossing fingers and looking forward to lunch for lunch.. 
Ok I just had my lunch cravings are not here yet and I still have energy... The worst thing just happened, my work mate has decided to buy Red Velvet cake on this day of all days :( cant have it but its cool.... after 30min I'm quite proud of myself because I'm not even craving for it which is good, shows I"m determined... Till Dinner need to keep strong....


Day 3 of TDH

Breakfast: One slice of bread and 2 cups of coffee without sugar
Lunch: Green bean salad with tomatoes and one boiled egg
Dinner:Ham and green salad (lettuce and cucumber)

Today I woke more hungry than I did the day before, had a bottle of water and decide to keep to my breakfast schedule of 9:30... Still having my breakfast right now and its 10:00am proud.. As per my past experience this day is the hardest day of the 13 days infact the first three days are the worst. Looking forward to the day and I know I will make it through... So this morning my sister inlaw decided to invite me for a family lunch at her new house *aaaaaaaaaaahhhh*scary because this invite means food on the table and more pressure and super self discipline....On my way here was actually contemplating on  whether I should ask her to postpone till the following week seeing that I'm undergoing this drama, and the kids are writing which might be a good excuse but we'll see how it goes.. 

So not looking forward to my lunch today hate green beans especially ones prepared with just salt and pepper :(, I have lowered the portion so that its a size of a soup spoon. 

Good news, so I plucked up the courage to weigh myself this morning and thus far 1.8kg down meaning RESULTS!!!! Only going to weigh myself again Saturday which will be my fifth day... 

Will have to see how it goes till Lunch....


Had my lunch weirdly I enjoyed it for once I loved the taste of tomatoes and the green beans and boiled egg, today is a bit difficult because I have headaches, but I tell myself its my brain wanting me to quit lol ain't gonna work... 
Till Dinner water water water!!!!

Day 4 of TDH
Breakfast : One slice of bread and 2 cups of coffee without sugar(but today I only had one cup)
Lunch: 1 egg cooked, carrots and cheese 
Dinner: Fruit salad and yogurt

This morning I woke soooo hungry my gosh started feeling dizzy and nausea worst morning ever ended up working from home :( not the best idea (being surrounded by all these different types of goodies) hope I survive the weekend ... but guess what though lost 3 kg thus far i know I had told myself I'm only going to weigh myself again Sat but hey was home and bored.

Lunch was amazing weirdest thing happened I could not finish my egg and cheese was too full drank 500 ml of water while i was eating didn't get to eat my carrots about to have them now boiled :( ....I am soooo looking forward to Dinner best day ever went to look for the best fruit salad @ woollies and bought Bulgarian yogurt :D cant wait... till supper staying strong

Day 5 of TDH 

Breakfast : Carrots and lemon and 2 cups of coffee without sugar(but today I only had one cup)
Lunch: Fish and raw tomatoes
Dinner: Roast beef steak and salad (in my case roasted chicken filled)

Today is sooo much better hey its 10:28 and I still havent had my breakfast, and I'm not even hungry WOW happiness guess its the lovely supper I had last light fruit salad and yogurt mmmmh... well back to normal, sad to say I've only had 1ltr of water thus far need to make sure I have my 2 ltr before lunch. I'm looking forward to my lunch today cos I made my fish divine sprinkled lemon juice and salt and pepper and oven grilled and last I enjoyed tomatoes with salt so I guess this lunch should be great.... till lunch need to drink as much water as I can and I have started on my breakfast as well... :D

Day 6 of TDH


Breakfast : one slice of toast and 2 cups of coffee without sugar(but today I only had one cup)
Lunch: Grilled chicken
Dinner: 2 cooked eggs and carrots

Ok firstly proud to say I completed my weekend without cheating (not that I didnt think of doing so)  had my breakfast very late Sat and my lunch was at around 3pm in the afternoon. It wasnt such a bad day after all... Helped that I was soo busy with everything... Didn't eat supper wasnt hungry infact the thought of boiled eggs again kinda made me uneasy so just slept with warer in the my tummy.

Day 7 of TDH


Breakfast: Tea with lemon
Lunch: Grilled beef and unllimited fruit
Dinner: Anything you want

Ok by far this has to be thee best day this diet. Had my tea as usual with lemon, fortunately this was just another busy day meaning no thinking of food. Had fruit for lunch didnt feel like eating anything heavy so I had Strawberries, half kiwi, apple and a banana. Then supper came along :D had PIZZA mmmh was divine, but believe is or not after the 2 slices of pizza ended up throwing up everything but its cool I think I had a bit too much water, so before I slept had a yogurt. 

I'm currently on day 10 of my diet I'm still going strong
